    Charlotte Brandi wurde 1985 in Herdecke geboren und wuchs in Dortmund auf. Ihre Eltern sind der Schauspieler und Musiker Peter Freiberg und die Musikerin Klara Brandi. Charlotte Brandi arbeitete zunächst vor allem als Theatermusikerin und wurde der breiten Öffentlichkeit als Teil des Duos Me & my Drummer bekannt, das sich 2018 auflöste. Seitdem macht sie mit ihren Soloplatten Furore und ist Teil der Supergroup Die Benjamins, zu der neben Annette Benjamin auch Drangsal gehört.
